Bigger icons?

I am used to an iphone, and bought this phone thinking that the screen app icons would be similar in size. But alas they are tiny and I can't see them too well!

Is there a way to enlarge them?

Also like others have said - I am a bit pee'd off that the back is plastic - Ive had the phone a day and its already scratched. I'm beginging to wish that I got another iphone instead!

There are quite a bit of "home launchers" on the play store, you can even install some that will make it look like an iphone

I dont like the big icons in xperia z1 compact after i updated it to lollipop..pls update..i prefer the smaller ones.thanks

I will definitely be chucking my z1 compact if these big icons do not get smaller and aesthetically pleasing in the next update.

Sure, all issues cannot be dealt at once, but comon Sony, you are losing in what you were good at.

I too prefer small icons, these are way too big I hope you can fix this by releasing any small system updates

I assume Sony had ported z1's home launcher to z1c and forget to reduce the dpi.

I know they say - "Bigger is better".. but Definitely NOT on my Z1C

My friend has the Z3C and it always had the big Icons which I never liked...

Is there a way to reduce the size of the icons... ?

The new icons in the 5.0 update are awful...simply no need to change them, and the launcher has gone from looking classy in KitKat to cheap and ugly in Lollipop...seriously, did Sony really put any thought not this update? Worst Android update I've applied to a phone in the 5 years of having them.

Hey There !

I am planning to ROOT my phone.. I have tried the steps by geohot in XDA but in vain.

I end up getting the PIE (position-independent executables) error. I have read that I am required to Unlock the boot loader to by pass the error.

And I have no intentions to unlock my phone's bootloader. Can you suggest me a better option pls ?

I have the 14.5.A0.242 build on my phone.

In that case you need you make your own pre-rooted firmware.

definitely the worst update I've ever experienced. I want my KitKat 4.4.4 version back! this update is wrong in so many ways, I don't know where to start. Completely messed up interface, unnecessary changes of design, the new apps that I won't use but I can't delete, new ugly way of showing my notifications and of course the cherry on top, big and ugly icons that make me feel like a complete.

Totally agree with the comments on the ugly and cheap looking large icons since upgrading to lollipop. I installed hola launcher

Ditch these big icons in lollipop. They are vulgar. Actually the whole thing does not seem to take advantage of the display in a Z1 - even the notifications bar is larger - it's like setting a 1980x1080 screen on a laptop to 1600x900.

Yes icons are too big looks ugly, chrome is worse to use, and i have feeling like i bought new phone that i don't like

Embrace the diversity that is Android & customise the look of your phone to the way YOU want it to be......install a different Home Launcher & Icon Pack....:smileysmileywink:

I don't like Home Launcher, i like orginal menu, everything was fine till new update.

How about upper quick menu, can u customise him? It's looks like it's from 2005 models??

Sony, please make the icons smaller in the upcoming Android 5.1 update. Big icons are ugly.
