Could not open connection to server.Edit details' and I can't set up the account at all at the moment.

I have tries various things, including changing the port (its 443)

All the input data is correct:

email address-correct

password - correct

domain/username - correct (those two were input as seperate items on htc rather than with /)

mailserver - correct (as per my previous settings that still work)

SSL - unticked

I have also contacted the network provider (orange) to see if there is anything from their side that I should include, but they advsie that there are no restrictions..

so this takes me back to the Phone ... any clues why is this not working?

thanks
