Xperia Ion 4.1.2 update issue.

Hi All

Good Morning.

I have faced a unexpected issue after update my Xperia Ion (Lt28h). After doing this update I am unable to use 3g Mobile Data. Seems when I try to download or update and apps from play store, my phone completely hang. even if I try to browse from Chrome or Facebook, it’s not working.

I have tried to re-configure network settings still not working. After re-configure I have found that, if I switch network to GSM only (From Mobile network mode) mode I can do everything.

Please note, I have also replace another 3g SIM card still same issue.

Call your network provider for 3G internet settings, and check the status if 3G is still active on your plan.

1.Check if you have enough space in your phone. Settings > Apps ( Device memory & Ram )

2.What error message or error code you receive while opening facebook & chrome ?

3.Try repair your phone using Sony Update Service http://www.sonymobile.com/gb/tools/update-service/

If still problem exist take your phone to near by Sony Service Centre.

Thanks for the reply. there is nothing about Network. My full phone is free. So no problem with that. there is no error message from Facebook or chrome. just no network connection.

I have checked with several blog and found that its a bag from Sony.

Its a clean and fresh update service software from Sony.

Try, it will solve most of the bugs, you might lucky...

I have download SUS and re-install Firmware 4.1.2. but still same problem.

For downgrade either you need to take your phone to Sony Service Centre or Flash your device...

I have already flash by myself and downgrade to ICS. everything works fine. For jelly Been its must be software bug. never expect this from Sony so sad.

Don't worry they will do a update fix soon
