The acid came out from the battery damaged other phones parts, most likely battery pins.

Your unit needs a hardware repair

Hello, I have a big problem with my Xperia ray, a couple of weeks ago I woke up and my phone didn't started. I opened up the cover and I saw a few drops of liquid looking like some sort of acid from the battery. I cleaned it, tried to restart the phone, it didn't worked. I was busy back then, found a replacement phone and postpone solving this problem for a while. Now I got a new battery but it still doesn't work.

Is it possible that my phone was damaged by those drops of acid?
