No alert sound for incoming calling

Hi All

Adding another problem to call lag & notification sound, I missed many many call coz I couldn't hear their incoming call alert sound, when I asked some one to call me I saw the screen lightening but no sound or alert and then I have to restart the phone and then worked fine but appear again after couple of days. I tried resetting the phone and it helped for more than a week but appeared again. I even reinstall the JB but also work fine for a while and back again faced the same problem

Would some one help me on fixing this issue? SONY please would u can make bug fixes for all of these problems?

If you have done all those steps(repairing,resetting) you are just unlucky...You can also try to uninstall apps like viber,whatsapp.I have seen they interfered with phone functions.Also,try disabling stamina mode to see if anything changes.

Thanx for suggestion, but unfortunately I did that before, I have closed the Apps one bye one till the last one and try to call after closing app every time but there is no sound :smileysad:,, So i have to wait for SONY bug fixes.

Please SONY fixes these issues

As the phone works fine for a while after a reset or repair i suspect that this problem may be caused by an app that you're installing. In another thread we've received reports that some apps using the microphone may cause problems which we are investigating but at the moment i can only suggest that you reset the phone and then install the apps you use one by one to find which is causing the problem.

I Have the same problem and no apps installed.

It's incredible that is not working for the price we paid.

If the problem occurs after a repair of the phones software and no apps installed i suggest that you contact a service location for further investigation and repairs.

I have uninstalled Viber app, and now I'm just waiting (for incoming call without sound). But unfortunately the lagging continues at the begining of the conversation which is annoying coz i wait for 4-8 seconds till i hear the other side.

Please SONY we are waiting for these buggggggg fixessssssss

Line apo too causes the incoming call tone bug so uninstall that too.. For Call lag restart your mob daily..

Hi guys

After I had uninstalling Viber fortunately the problem of Alert sound not coming not appear again but still the lag appeared..,,, .

I have completed 10 days without restarting the phone which was not achieved before (Earlier I have to restart daily or twice daily)

I advice you guys to remove Viber (at least till SONY fixes these problems)

Yes,still,it is not adviceable to stay so long without restarting.Do it every 2-3 days...
