Xperia T worked well for 6 nonths then refused to stay on. Returned to the outlet I purchased it from who in turn sent it to Sony over 2 weeks ago. I asked what the timescale was for repair but for over a week have had no response. What is the liklihood of getting this phone repaired soon and if not what is the process for refund/replacement. Seems incredible that any phone supplier would leave a customer without a phone for what is coming up for 3 weeks now
Just realised previous poster waited over 2 weeks for a reply. What a waste of time this forum is and what a waste of time a Sony Warranty is. Samsung from now on.

WARRANTY - Please beware or share experiences

I have an Xperia T, great phone. Lately I haven't been able to connect to my PC thru the USB port. I brought back to the store, the loaned me a phone and said it couldn't be a software problem, to call Sony for warranty or exchange since I bought the phone without a contract.

So I called Sony, spent sometime on the phone just so they can tell me the exact thing the tech told me.

The catch, phone is not even 2 months old, they keep it for repair for 10-14 days and you are stuck without a phone. In these days, I don't know who can go 10 to 14 days without a phone, it just not doable. So unless someone knows more than I do or had other experiences, that plays a huge role on the next phone I get. I had problems with my Samsung Galaxy, received another phone three days later and return mine, it was only 45 days old. Decided to switch out since I have a Sony tablet and a Sony Laptop, love both, but the phone, not so sure.

Moral of the story, go buy a new Sony phone while they repair the old and return it once I get mine back. It doesn't make sense but not sure what else. Anyone had any other experiences with warranty? Please share....
