NEO V Front Cam Icon Disappeared

Hello,

My Neo V's front camera isn't working. The icon for it disappeared. I was advised by support to repair/update the software using PC Companion, but it didn't resolve the issue. I've only used it for a little over a year and its mostly used for games so I don't know why it happened.

Please help me.

have you disable any app? uninstall apps?

try this

settings > apps > all > camera > clear everything > restart your phone

Still did not resolve the issue. I also tried restoring phone to original settings, but still the icon of the front camera is not found.

Help please.

Which software do you have in the phone? Android 4.0.4?

Then you should find the front camera if you open the camera > scenes/modes > front camera.

Hi uliwooly, yes I have Android 4.0.4. I was able to see the front camera icon already, but when I click(or choose) it, it takes picture using the primary(back) camera. I tried this option "Type this in ur dial pad *#*#7378423#*#*, go to service test and test the secondary cam ..see if its working" and I only see black screen.

Do you know what this means?
