software update engine failure (error 1601)

Hi, when trying to update my phone, a window popped up saying software update engine failure. I am unsure of what it means. Could someone please help me find the software update engine?

Try updating Java Virtual Machine...

If it doesn't help, post up more information about your computer's Operating System and other specifications so that we can troubleshoot your problem...

I have tried this. Attached is the pop up below. Also, do you need 500mb of UNUSED memory RAM

in order to update? As you are aware, sola only has i think 500 memory ram?

If you have already updated Java and you're still having problems, this would indicate that Anti Virus or Firewall software on the PC is blocking PC Companion or Update Service access to the Internet. Try checking these softwares and ensure PC Companion/Update Service are granted full access to your connection.

I have face the same problem when i updated the latest version. Error is sony update engine failure (error 1601).

How to resolve it. Any Suggestion...
