Sony Xperia L Album is not working

Hello Friends,

I bought Sony Xperia L before 2 days but today I am facing problem in Album.. When I open album its showing me blank screen.. There are lots of picture in my cell which i can browers from file Commander but from ALBUM its blank. Can any one facing same isssue or help me on this?

Same problem is occuring in my phone and even i have post a thread stating exactly the same issue,have u updated your phone to build 15.0.A.1.31??

Because after updating to this the fone to this version,the problem has started to occur....

I solved my problem.. Just do this... go to setting->app->all->album->Clear Data and Restart your phone..

my Exepria L is one week older, even i too having same problem, i have cleared Cche iN album and its ok for sum time and again the same issue happening, not displaying pictures in album , any permanent solution ???pls

This problem occurs everytime because you used any tools or anti virus for mobile protection.. When you runs that particular application. This thing happens... No permenent solution for this....

My Xperia L is one week old and I am having the same problem.
It gets fixed temporarily when I do Settings->Apps->All->Album->Clear Data

But every now and then, the problem re-surfaces.

One work around I've found is to not use Album at all. I've downloaded 'Gallery ICS' from play store and so far it is working without any glitches at all. I highly recommend using Gallery ICS as your primary image viewer/manager app.

Edit:
I also recommend not using any app/task killers or RAM cleaners. JellyBean handles memory management quite well and there is really not much need to force-free memory every now and then.
Always remember "Free memory is wasted memory!"

It's mainly due to an issue with the default album app. When ever you opens the apps it starts to consume the internal memory and later cause all these problems. Until next official update, it is better to avoid album app and use some other photo viewer apps in play store. Hope sony fixes the issue soon enough

just do the following and ur [roblem of blank album will go away ....... SETTINGS>APPS>ALL>ALBUM>CLEAR DATA>YES>........... restart ur phone and enjoy....................................... but remember ...... donot use any CACHE cleaner...... it will again bring the same problem ............ hope i helped u

Thank you for your suggestions it worked for me.

This is just because of the cache cleaners. Dont use the cache cleaners again or else this sama will happen again.

i got message to my update center to ready to download 15.0.a.2.17 i try to update but did not updated what can i do that update or tell me hw to lear that notification on my mob i have xperia l in one week older

Xperia Z Album is not showing all photos, videos (properly). Only showing their thumbnails.

Doesn't show some/many assets in My Albums> My SD Card. but only showing their thumbnails (images/videos), in my xperia z (album latest version 52A120).OS 4.2.2

Even if I changed the folder name, it still showing only thumbnails of its assets, not the files when I go in. Also, 1 moved one video inside this 'not showing' folder. This video is showing correctly, but not other files (yesterday the same were being shown).

Rebooting, Clearing data and cache not solving. I'm trying to find where does it store its cache in its folder structure? Any help?

1. I have succeeded in solving my problem by deleting "Media Storage's" data/cache. But this is a drastic step. It would delete all wifi pairings ever done with any other gadget (bluetooth pairings remain). Plus mobile will have to be rebooted to function normally. And even after rebooting, it would take several minutes before behaving normally. But after this step, my album app did behave as i wanted.

NOW LISTEN TO CAREFUL PART. AFTER SUCCESSIVELY SOLVING MY PROBLEM, I WAS EXPERIMENTING WITH OTHER THINGS. THROUGH MY PC BROWSER, I WAS BROWSING MOBILE'S FILE SYSTEM. AND DELIBERATELY (WAS JUST EXPERIMENTING) DELETED A FOLDER NAMED 'STORAGE' (OR ITS SUB FOLDERS NAMED EMULATED/LEGACY). AND YOU WON'T BELIEVE PERHAPS WHAT DID IT DO WITHIN SECONDS. IT DELETED/JUST ERASED WHOLE OF MY 16gb internal and 32 GB (EXTERNAL) MEMORY CHIPs. JUST ERASED THEM FOR GOOD! GOD! I NEVER THOUGHT ANDROID COULD BE THIS BLUNDEROUS! WINDOWS WOULD NEVER HAVE DONE SUCH A THING.

BEFORE TAKING SUCH A DRASTIC STEP, WINDOWS WOULD HAVE WARNED THE USER TENS OF TIMES. I'VE CHECK IN DIFF WAYS AND AM SURE THAT ALL CONTENTS HAVE GONE FOR GOOD.!

Okay thankyou! It's just when I click on the clear data button it says that everything it that file will be deleted, but shall I try it anyway?

Settings-apps-all-album,clear data.It just resets the app,making it add all the photos again.
