[USB][6.2.B.0.211] Logitech USB 2.4GHz Unifying mouse fail

Mouse: M905(Unifying), M950(Unifying), M325(Unifying), M305(non-Unifying)

Keyboard: K400(Unifying), K800(Unifying)

No Logitech USB 2.4GHz Unifying mouse/keyboard I have tested works on an XPERIA LT26i with 6.2.B.0.211 ROM!!

I have tested the USB nano 2.4GHz adapter on a LiveDock DK10 and directly on the XPERIA S without success.

In the past on ICS (v4.0.4) ALL the above mice worked when directly connected to the XPERIA S or via the DK10 LiveDock.

In ICS the K400 keyboard would also work. K800 keyboard is a later edition not tested in ICS (v4.0.4)

I have an old circa 2004 Dell USB wireless keyboard (not a Logitech device) and that still works in 6.2.B.0.2xx ROM

One thing to note is that a Logitech NON-UNIFYING 2.4GHz USB mouse M305 does work on an XPERIA LT26i with 6.2.B.0.211 ROM.

The Logitech M305 mouse is an old circa 2009 mouse no longer in production.

I have tested a lot of USB devices and of all the USB connected devices that worked in ICS (v4.0.4) it's only the Logitech 2.4GHz Unifying adapter connected devices that fail.

If one plugs in a Logitech 2.4Ghz Unifying adapter directly or via the DK10 LiveDock there is no error message, no yellow/red error triangle... nothing.

It just does NOT work.

As a sanity test I have a HP v165w 8GB USB flash drive which when plugged directly into the Sony XPERIA S gives a "USB Power consumption error"

It did this in ICS too.

If I plug the same HP v165w 8GB USB flash drive into a powered USB hub via the DK10 LiveDock it works fine as the USB hub is providing the required power.

This just shows I do get error messages when devices have connection errors.

I would like to see the return of Logitech 2.4GHz Unifying devices in the XPERIA S JB 4.1.2 ROM.

I think current Logitech mice and keyboards are to numerous to ignore.

I would like to take the time to thank Sony for the USB support of the following devices that do work on an XPERIA S with 6.2.B.0.211 ROM

Given this is still a problem in 6.2.B.1.96 is there any solution coming?

This has been investigated and unfortunately this is an incompatibility problem between Logitech unifying devices and the Android 4.1 software for these phones.
