Xperia Ion Walkman

giresta — Sun, 24 Mar 2013 19:40:14 GMT

Hi, I am writing the discussion of another user (xperia t) has anyone had this problem with xperia ion and can you tell us if it will be solved with jelly bean?

[Hi to all. I'm new one here. Well, I have my Xperia T for last 2 months. And, beside camera issues, I have one problem I did not find answer anywhere on Internet. I use to listen music on my Xperia for one and half or two hours daily. What happenes? Walkman player simply stops playing mp3 and it shuts down showing on widget on homescreen first song I started to listen. And in 2h listening it happens 3 or 4 times. I'm going crazy! I tried to Repair, reseting to factory settings - nothing helped! Still have ICS (latest update). What to do to get my player working properly?]

is the music on the phone's internal storage or the SD card? do you have a taskiller or antivirus or battery app? do you have the stamina option on?

No music is on internal memory, no task killer, battery app no antivirus or stamina mode.

Phone run on stock ics rom.

Happens to me, especially if I use the browser: default or chrome

I know music will stop playing if you open certain apps, such as the camera, its quite interesting so the only apps that you have open are the walkman app and a browser nothing more and the websites doesn't have any videos?

No I do not have video, I have already tried a factory reset and restore with pc companion I also read of other people having the same problem.

I just wanted to see if the next update the problem was solved

while I test this on my phone, transfer some music to your internal memory > unmount the SD card > remove it and try again, this time w/o the sd card.
