For some kind of mistake, I changed the password (PIN, in this case) for some numbers I don't remember and well, can't unlock my mobile. I've tried a lot of combinations but I couldn't find any, so I guess I'm screwed, is there a way to unlock it without having to delete all the content I have?

Thanks in advance.

#XperiaXA1ULTRA

Hi @Rodrigo_17, sorry to hear about what has happened.

We do not have any tools to remove the screen lock without deleting all the data stored on the internal storage.

There are two different ways to reset the device and to have the screen lock removed, but all data on the internal storage will be deleted.

Firstly, you can with the help of a computer and the program Xperia Companion perform a software repair.

The second option is to reset the device using the Google service called Find My Device and you can find instructions on how to do this below.

To reset the Xperia device using Find My Device

If your SD card isn't encrypted or used in a corporate environment, remove it before you perform the reset. Turn off the Xperia device before you remove the SD card. Turn the device back on when you have removed the SD card.

On a computer or in a mobile browser, go to www.android.com/find.

Sign in to the Google Account that you previously added to your device.

If you have more than one device, select the device that you're locked out of at the top of the screen.

Select Erase. Be aware that this action will permanently erase all of your data, for example, your apps, photos and music. After you erase the content of your device, Find My Device will no longer work on it.

After you remotely erase the content of your device, you can set up your device again with your Google account and a new screen lock.

In both cases, it's very important that you know your Google account details, both the user name and password, so you can verify that you are the owner of the device after it has been reset.

I hope that helps!

Thank you so much! I tried with the Xperia Companion software but an error appeared. The "fastest" and better solution I found was going to the nearest Sony Center Service in my community and leaving my mobile with them, I hope I could get to use it again.

Anyway, thank you Jonas.

#XperiaXA1Ultra
