topic Photo problem in XA Series

Photo problem

I took several photos today but when I came to look at them I only have a square sign with a kind of up and down line graph. It goes up and down twice. I need to retrieve tbe pictures urgently can anyone please help?

Are the pictures stored on an SD card or internal storage?

The photos seem to be corrupted.

They should be on the sd card. I have taken a photo since and it is there so I am not sure why these are missing - can you please help?

Use a file commander (download one if you don't have one) > open the app > SD card > DCIM > 100Andro > the pictures should be there

what if you connect the phone to a computer and check the SD card or if you have an SD card adaptor

Hi uliwooly, I have just tried that and it comes up with a message about not supporting the file format. I have not changed anything on my phone camera, so i am very confused and frustrated. Thanks

I think that the files are corrupted and there isn't much you can do about it, there are some programs that might partially restore them but if they are corrupted the files are pretty much trash
