I have had this mark on 3 xperia phones so far; the Z5 and two Xa1's. Couldn't do anything about the Z5 as it was also dropped before I had a chance. The first Xa1 I tried to just ignore the growing orange however, the screen lost sensitivity after a couple of months so I sent it away for a warrenty repair via amazon UK. They just replaced the phone. The replacement phone is now also showing the orange patch so I've requested a refund which has been accepted.

No one is that unlucky with phones, it's high time Sony investigated this issue and addressed it to restore consumer faith.

I found a yellow burning stain on my Sony Xperia xa1 display one week back. It is expanding day by day. No physical damage to the phone till now. I have used very low price mobiles for years together without facing any problems. This is not expected from a branded mobile phone.
