After oreo update my XA1 plus

After Oreo update I'm facing many issues.

Specially in every 20 seconds my phone stop working and showing this error

System process isn't responding.

I'm pissed off. Please help me guys.

This problem has affected almost every xa1plus user afaik, only possible solution i found is to factory reset the phone.May Sony release update patch in future, until then reset is the only solution.Dont forget to take backup!

Install the firmware via Flashtool, and all errors will pass. So far this is the only way.

Me personally as a Xa1plus user,i didn't had a single problem until oreo(Android 😎 update,i also faced some issues with oreo update and i got solved those. Your phone seems to have some bad system cache which cant be solved by performing reset. So use " Xperia pc companion" app for pc and select "software repair" option and follow on-screen steps.This step formats phone but also corrects any bad system partitions and reinstall complete new software.it will definitely solve your problem.Have patience using Xperia companion bcoz it takes a hour or two and 2gb internet data.Be sure to take backup of important things

First try "factory data reset" option on phone.if that doesn't solve your problems then only solution is follow my above reply guide about PC companion software repair.it will work 100percent

Rapair by Companion did not solve the problem with System error message.

Hmm,that method should solve every software problem if it is.Dont take me wrong,but after software repair says successful, format phone once more through phone and important(install all apps fresh.i.e don't restore them with previous backups, that's last i can help,If everything fails then simply visit nearest sony service center,they will repair under warranty,Goodluck

This is terrible service from Sony..Didn't expect this!

It shows process System not responding every now and then !

Till now, no update for this has been released.

Worked perfectly in Nougat..

I cant understand as to why did they release the update when it was not stable!

Try this

Settings>apps>apps info>click-on-3dotmenu>show system apps>find&open app named "system ui ">tap on storage>clear cache>done.

Do the same for app named "android system" and check if issue still persists

I am experiencing the same issue with my XA1 plus also. Every now and then it hang n shows Process System not responding. I have been using 3 Sony phones since Erickson days n this is truly the worst I have come across. I just got this phone beginning of this year and I already face so much problems with the battery charging, phone switching off by itself and now this. Gosh

Hi everyone, I just purchased an XA1 Plus for my girlfriend and then read about all these problems with the Oreo update.

When I got the phone yesterday, I first did the 3-4 updates until the latest Oreo version. This was even before I put any sim card or memory card in the phone.

Then I used Xperia Companion to do a software repair/factory reset. This is key, I believe. If you haven't done a repair through Xperia Companion, I think you need to try.

I can say so far that I have not seen any "process not responding" errors, and the phone feels fine. I will monitor her battery life to see if it meets expectations.

Hopefully Sony will release a future update that prevents these issues from manifesting for upgrades from Nougat, previous versions. But until then, make a backup of your stuff, update to the latest Oreo version, then do the software repair through Xperia Companion, and see if this solves your problems!

Everyone here did the repair by the Xperia Companion and it did not solve the problem with System unrespounding. For what purpose you turn your message to all topics here???

I went into safe-mode ten times. Every time the system unresponding appeared on next day after this. Nothing of this forum's advices did not help.

Sony support recommended make reset ones more and do not install any applications, and use the device without applications. What a great idea!

I think updating xperia assist and support apps via google play will resolve the problem

if you check google play you will be notified for new update of xperia assist, just update it, excute it and activate smart cleaner restart phone

it is about 2 weeks I haven't seen this error hope not to see again
