Reseting phone google account not accepting

I sent my phone for repeair.When it came back it was reset so I log in.Phone told me that I need to use the account that I start my phone and I used that account and its not accepting please help.I tried everything saving account and other things

Hi @Mirathebuilder, welcome to our forum and I'm sorry to hear about this.

Did you reset the password on your Google account when you got the device back from service? If you did, you will need to wait 24 hours before you able to log in to the device again. This is because of security reasons.

Hi I just reset my phone and it is asking for a google account, when I entered my google account that was been registered to that phone before I reset it it is not accepting my google account and it says that I need to wait for 24 hours after the password on my google account was changed. I waited for almost 24 hours before I tried to enter my google account with the new password but I am still getting the same error that I need to wait for 24 hours. Kindly help

Hi @Cristotle, sorry to hear about this.

Do you have more than one Google account? It's the first Google account that you added in the device that you will need to use to get past the Google device protection screen.

If you change the password for the Google account, it will enter a lock period that is 24 hours long and you won't be able to use this account to log in to the device.

If you are 100% sure that you are using the correct Google account and the correct credentials and you still aren't able to log in back in to the device, please get in touch with your Local support team and they will assist you further with having this protection removed.
