Audio goes out of sync on 2 different HDMI inputs

Recently my KD-65XE9305 has started having an audio sync issue with inputs from 2 different DVD players on 2 different HDMI inputs (1 & 2). Randomly during viewing the picture will momentarily freeze, start again and then the sound will be out of sync by a lot - unwatchable. I can fix it only by either restarting the TV and/or restarting the DVD player. I'm assuming it's the TV because it's 2 different players, leads and inputs. I've tried clearing the cache, resetting inputs and sounds to default and also checked Andriod Core Tv Services is up to date.

Anything else I should try before getting service under guarantee?
