Hi, I recently purchased a 65" Bravia tv. First I had to update the firmware and now I have no sound when using android apps. I expected a lot better quality products from Sony and I did not expect to pay 1300 euro for something that doesn't work especially coming up to Christmas and my children love tv

This happened to my android TV after the latest update. I turned the TV off with the remote and unplugged it from the mains for ten minutes. Plugged it back in, turned on via remote and the sound returned to the apps. Hope this works for you.

Thanks, I unplugged the tv and after 10 minutes plugged it back in and the sound returned

The thing about Android is that it's not a simple TV operating system. And it can't be for what it delivers. But simple steps like turning it off for a while to clear background clutter goes a long way in helping with these kind of issues. It's not perfect.
