Rebooting TV - KD49XG8396

My TV is rebooting but only while using the smart TV components : running Android 8.0.
I'll be watching Netflix or YouTube and the TV will reboot, sometimes in a continuous loop depending on the app being used.
If I watch TV, then there are no problems and everything functions fine with zero problems. Switch to apps and it becomes a lottery.
I have reset the TV a few times and that hasn't made any difference.

Upgraded the firmware and so far, it seems to be stable. Appreciate the help!

Well I thought that helped, but alas no. The TV still has the same issues despite the firmware upgrade.
TV works fine until apps are used and then the TV randomly reboots, sometimes in a reboot loop until I press TV on the remote to get out of the loop. Any suggestions would be welcome.

Have you tried clearing the cached data? (under Storage & Reset - Internal Shared Storage - Cached data)
