8004 bravia motion blur

hi Guys

watching Gladiator on Film4 on freeview last night on my 8004 bravia

in some scences with a running Horse it was blurring really bad like looking a water effect

tried changing settings on picture etc but did nt make it any better also looking a the picture menu i noticed that the Auto picture mode is off and greyed out if pressed says not available with current input mode

what does that mean as its freeview via normal ariel bit confused on it and ca nt understand as to why this was so blurrly

any help would be great thanks in advance

You'll find some tips on how to adjust your settings to fix a picture blur for fast moving objects here (KD-43XE8004).

i have already tried this but only have a couple of choices on there off auto or custom none seem to make much difference
